The MEDVIA cluster from Belgium, a partner in the MEDIC-NEST project coordinated by the IMAGO-MOL Cluster, organized a ClusterXchange event on the occasion of the HealthTech Summit forum, between March 21-23, 2023, in Leuven, Belgium.
The representatives of the regional health ecosystem at this event were Alina Capitanu, vice-president of the Imago-Mol Cluster from the North-East ADR, Adina Coroaba, researcher at the “Petru Poni” Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry in Iasi, Wael Jalloul, researcher of the Imago Cluster -Mol from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Gr. T Popa Iași and Alexandru Constantin, founder of the ICamin startup and winner of the MEDIC NEST Office Hours award in the Smart Health Pitching Competition.
The Leuven ClusterXchange was an excellent event that facilitated the development of collaborative relationships between members of partner clusters and the establishment of new joint actions and potential collaborative projects. The main topics addressed were: developing bridges between research and commercialization, building a collaborative innovation ecosystem in the health field, the hospital of the future, promoting the innovative solutions of med & healthtech companies, members of the MEDIC NEST MetaCluster.
This event was part of the Cluster Week series of events, the first being the European Smart Health Technologies in Medical Diagnosis and Treatment forum, which took place in February in Iasi, and the next will be the Hellenic Biocluster Forum, organized between June 15-17 2023 in Athens.
