On May 19 and 20, the second module of the training session in the field of using Artificial Intelligence in medicine was held at the headquarters of the Faculty of Automation and Computers in Iași within the Technical University “Gh. Asachi” from Iasi.
Module 2 continued the open discussions on the occasion of the first module and had a greater focus on processing that includes the use of AI in medical imaging. The trainers were Prof. Dr. Eng. Iulian Ciocoiu and assistant prof. Eng. Paul Herghelegiu.
The next module will be held on June 16 and 17 at the headquarters of the UMF “Grigore T. Popa” MAVIS Center in Iași and will have a strong practical focus on the integration of AI in imaging and the development of medtech products, through the presence of trainers from the members our company RAYSCAPE.
The session will also include an intervention from the PHILIPS company presenting Philips technologies and solutions that incorporate/use the AI universe.
The training sessions are part of the MEDIMAG-IA project, the Regional Center of Excellence for Personalized Diagnosis and Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (MEDIMAG-IA), co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Program Competitiveness 2014 – 2020, code SMIS 2014+ 152740.
