The first workshop within the MEDIC-NEST project, dedicated to the analysis of the strategies of the partner clusters within the project, from the perspective of the S3 strategies, was completed between 23rd and 24th of May 2022, in Leuven, Belgium.
The event was organized by the MEDVIA cluster and brought together the project teams of the partners. They were also joined by Jolien Roovers, a policy expert in the Flemish Government and an expert of the European Platform for Personalized Medicine – S3P4PM, who gave a presentation of the results of the study on the inclusion of personalized medicine in national or regional S3 strategies.
The study was carried out within the SAPHIRE project, funded by the Horizon 2020 Program. In continuation of the presentation of the regional situations, a participatory debate took place on the SWOT analyses prepared by each partner.
For this activity, the IMAGO-MOL Cluster has performed the SWOT analysis for the regional ecosystem it represents, from the perspective of implementing personalized medicine, transmitting for information and consultation this document to the Sectoral Specialization Office of the North-East Regional Development Agency.
