On the 16th of June 2026, Piatra-Neamț hosted the first InnoMedCatalyst Demo Day of the year, an event dedicated to innovative startups in digital health and personalised medicine. Organised by Rubik Hub, a partner in the InnoMedCatalyst consortium, the event brought together startups, investors, healthcare professionals and key stakeholders from Europe’s innovation ecosystem.
During the Demo Day, nine startups from Romania, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria and Spain showcased innovative solutions in areas including artificial intelligence, digital health, diagnostics, patient monitoring, digital therapeutics and healthcare data management. The event marked an important milestone in the implementation of the second edition of the InnoMedCatalyst Accelerator Programme.
At the end of the competition, WakeZ (Romania) received the Best 5P Innovation Potential award, Thermovision (Romania) was recognised as Best Potential, while OneCareAI (Spain) won the Best Presentation award. The Audience Awards were presented to Thermovision and WakeZ.
The winning startups will have the opportunity to participate in some of Europe’s leading innovation and investment events, including WMF – We Make Future 2027, the Healthcare Investors Summit, and 4YFN 2027.
The success of the event reinforces InnoMedCatalyst’s role in supporting startups and strengthening European collaboration to advance innovative healthcare solutions. The next InnoMedCatalyst Demo Day will take place on 17 September 2026 in Madeira, Portugal, continuing the project’s mission to accelerate innovation in digital health and personalised medicine.
