The project ˝DIGITAL INNOVATION ZONE EDIH – MANUFACTURING & SMART HEALTH for better business, life and health in the North East Romania region˝, has a funding of about 4 million Euro from the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) budget and the Operational Programme for Smart Growth, Digitisation and Financial Instruments (POCIDIF).
The members of the consortium are: Technical University of Iasi (coordinator), Nothe East Regional Development Agency, University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T.Popa” from Iasi, IMAGO-MOL Cluster, Grapefruit SRL, WebMagnat SRL , Strongbytes Consulting SRL , RomSoft SRL, Atelierul de Idei SRL, Iceberg SRL.
The aim of the project is to ensure a smart, sustainable and coherent digital transformation in the North-East Region by providing support services to SMEs and public institutions across the region, active in the manufacturing and health sectors (relevant sectors with growth potential according to the North-East RIS3) by giving them access to a consolidated system trough the European-wide EDIH network.
The 2023 – 2025 objectives of the Digital Innovation Zone project:
- 100 SMEs and public hospitals: Digital Maturity Assessment, Demonstration Activities, Digital Transformation Program
- 1000 participants: Digital Literacy Radar, Digital Culture & Skills trainings, Digital Innovation 6 M School
- 6 technology calls: Digital Innovation Experts, Technology partners, EDIH network
- Access to funding: OpenUp Financing Platform, Grant Readiness workshop, Investor Readiness workshop, Digital Business Models
