On March 7th, we hosted the North East Regional Workshop at “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iași, bringing together key stakeholders to accelerate the implementation of Personalised Medicine Innovations as part of the PRECISEU project.
Building on insights from experts’ interviews conducted earlier this year, we engaged representatives from medical universities, public hospitals, research institutes, private healthcare providers, pharma and tech companies, innovation hubs, and patient associations. Together, we explored the regional landscape of Personalized Medicine, identifying key barriers to market access and implementation, while assessing strengths and challenges within the regional ecosystem.
The findings from this workshop will shape a regional report that will inform a joint roadmap — both at the regional and EU level—to drive the adoption of Personalized Medicine innovations.
PRECISEU is a flagship project of the European Commission’s Horizon Europe Program that will address the main challenges of Personalised Medicine in Europe. The general objective of PRECISEU is to increase the efficiency of the regional innovation ecosystems through strengthened collaboration and shared resources, enabling the development and implementation of innovative personalised medicine initiatives.
