On March 25, the Iasi Smart Health City Hackathon took place at the Faculty of Informatics within UAIC IAȘI.

The event was organized by the IMAGO-MOL Cluster in collaboration with the City Hall of Iași, the North-East Regional Development Agency, the Faculty of Informatics Iași, the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer MAVIS, the Calemis Association, the Coalition of Organizations of Patients with Chronic Diseases from Romania, the Association for health counseling and education, Digital Innovation Zone, RomSoft, Create Change Association and Signant Health.

The event was attended by over 70 participants who organized themselves into 7 groups and worked on the 6 challenges of the hackathon:

  • Development of a telemedicine solution that allows remote monitoring of chronic patients, proposed by the “Sf Spiridon” County Emergency Hospital in Iasi
  • Solution to assist patients in the implementation of medical recommendations, proposed by the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer MAVIS within the UMF “Grigore T. Popa” from Iași
  • Patient Map 1.0, proposed by the Coalition of Organizations of Patients with Chronic Diseases from Romania, respectively the “My Child, My Heart” Association
  • Medical Connect, proposed by Signant Health
  • 2 challenges from the area of ​​healthtech solutions for medical recovery
