The first edition of the InnoMedCatalyst accelerator has come to an end, and we are still energized by the enthusiasm, ideas, and talent that shaped every stage of this project. It has been an intense journey filled with passionate people and innovative solutions, proving that the future of medicine begins with collaboration, courage, and vision.

In recent months, extraordinary teams from across Europe have joined us to strengthen their innovations in the digital field and in the areas of personalised, precision, predictive, preventive, and participatory medicine — the five pillars of 5P Medicine. We talked, we learned from one another, we challenged each other, and we built a true community of people who believe that the healthcare system can — and must — become better.
The Startup Demo Day in Bologna went flawlessly. Each team brought passion, courage, and creative solutions designed to make patients’ lives easier, support doctors, and improve the functioning of medical systems around the world.
We are grateful and thank the mentors who participated on behalf of the Imago-Mol Cluster:
Ștefan Busnatu, Vice-Rector for Innovative Biotechnologies and Digitalization at the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, and cardiologist at the “Bagdasar-Arseni” Emergency Clinical Hospital.
Ion-Gheorghe Petrovai, co-founder and Director of FreshBlood HealthTech.
We were also delighted to reconnect with our partners from the clusters involved in InnoMedCatalyst, members of the MEDIC NEST meta-cluster in precision medicine, which is currently chaired by Imago-Mol.
For all 17 participating teams, this experience was intense and transformative, providing the ideal framework for innovation to be encouraged, challenged, and refined in a constructive way. It was an ending that does not mark the close of a journey, but the beginning of many other promising paths in healthtech.
