On December 13, 2019, professors, students, masters and doctoral students from the University “Al.I. Cuza ”Iasi, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University Iasi, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine and“ Grigore T. Popa ”University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi met in the Senate Hall of the UAIC to identify common research topics for license degree / dissertation, with applicability in medicine.
The event started with a presentation on the role of clusters in the innovation ecosystem supported by Daniel Cosnita, president of the Romanian Clusters’ Association.
The topics proposed by each of the universities were presented and particular possible bilateral collaborations have been identified, starting from devices for measuring extrasystoles, smart clothes, the use of music in the identification of psychiatric disorders, therapy with plants and animals in autism, software for cytological diagnosis at animal and many more.
Gabi Dumitriu, Lawcalis Iasi gave a presentation on Blockchain in healthtech, promoting the benefits that blockchain technology can have in the field of medicine, an example of good practice being Oncochain, the successful start-up in the field of oncology that uses this technology.
The event was highly appreciated, attracting a large participation (almost 50 people), following which a new event will be organized at the beginning of next year, and the communication between all those interested in identifying collaborative partners will be mediated by the cluster, including through a section dedicated to the IMAGO-MOL website.
