MEDIC-NEST, the meta-cluster alliance in precision medicine, was officially launched at the final joint MEDIC NEST & BRIGHT Joint Final Conference in Brussels on January 24, 2024!
MEDIC-NEST is a voluntary, open and agile alliance of European clusters and business support organizations that believe in the role of cross-border and cross-sector cluster collaboration to support the internationalization, growth and global competitiveness of the European precision medicine ecosystem.
MEDIC-NEST founding members (Imago-Mol Cluster – Romania, MEDVIA – Belgium, HBIO – Greece, SIVI – Spain) were pleased to welcome partner clusters and supporting organizations active in the field of precision medicine into the new alliance:

During the first General Assembly of the newly formed alliance, held on January 31, 2024, the founding members elected Mrs. Alina Căpitanu, Vice-President of the Imago-Mol Cluster on behalf of the North-East RDA and initiator of the concept of meta-clustering in the field of precision medicine, as President of the MEDIC-NEST Meta-Cluster.
The 14 European clusters, who believe in the power of collaboration across borders, have joined forces to contribute to the development of precision medicine at European level and invite other organizations interested in this field to join their initiative!
