In the context in which the IMAGO-MOL Cluster is active within the European Platform for Intelligent Specialization in the field of Personalized Medicine (S3P4PM), in which the North-East region is a member, through the North-East Regional Development Agency, on February 11, 2021 a meeting dedicated to the formation of the European consortium for the proposed topic took place.
The IMAGO-MOL cluster proposes the development of an inter-regional translational research platform in the field of radiopharmaceuticals, for the synthesis and characterization of new radioactive tracers, in the perspective of personalized medicine, project idea presented during previous working meetings within the S3P4PM partnership.
The meeting brought together representatives of ClustER Health from the Emilia Romagna Region (Italy) and the Jozef Stefan Institute and the University Clinical Center for Nuclear Medicine in Ljubljana (Slovenia). The IMAGO-MOL cluster invited representatives of the National Research-Development Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering „Horia Hulubei” and of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry “Petru Poni”, essential partners in developing a collaborative project for the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
The IMAGO-MOL cluster presented the opportunities to develop a collaborative project in the field of radiopharmaceuticals that could be submitted in future open calls under the Horizon Europe Program or the Interregional Innovation Initiative.
