The North-East Region has been chosen as a model of good practice in the field of interregional cooperation developed by the Vanguard Initiative, thus having the opportunity to present the TRACE MED demo case project and the work of the MEDIC NEST Meta-Cluster in Precision Medicine at the conference “The convergence of technologies enabling R&I for the healthcare of the future”.

The conference was organized by the Flemish Government on 28-29 May in Brussels, as part of a series of events occasioned by Belgium’s assumption of the Presidency of the Council of Europe.

Alina Căpitanu, vice-president of the Imago-Mol Cluster on behalf of the North-East RDA, presented how to facilitate the development of the Interregional Platform for research and development of new radiotracers in the field of personalized medicine, as well as the dynamics of the Meta-Cluster MEDIC NEST which from four founding members now brings together 16 European clusters interested in the development of precision medicine.
