The IMAGO-MOL cluster was co-organizer of the event dedicated to World Stroke Day, which took place on October 28, 2022, in the “GEORGE EMIL PALADE” Great Hall of the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi , alongside the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, the Emergency Clinical Hospital “Prof. Dr. N. Oblu” Iași and the County Emergency Clinical Hospital “Sf. Spiridon” Iași.
The event facilitated an exchange of experience between residents and doctors with various medical specialties from the city of Iasi, involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with acute stroke, with the aim of continuing the actions of forming a neurovascular branch in the medical units of Iasi and participating in the establishment a program of informative actions in Iași and the North-East Region of Romania.
The round table continued the events dedicated to the prevention of stroke, initiated in October 2019, consisting of a workshop and a symposium, followed by the hackathon “Hack4Life, Be a stroke hero” in February 2020.
The event was accredited with EMC credits.
