On June 28 and 29, 2023, we participated, in Sofia, in the kick-off meeting of an ambitious project that we joined at the beginning of June – VELES Excellence Hub, through which we want to revolutionize the “smart health” field in South East Europe.
The IMAGO-MOL cluster was represented by Ms. Prof. Danisia Haba, scientific coordinator of the project and Daniel Mocanu, IT expert, as well as through online participation, by Carmen Mihai, cluster manager and Alexandra Huțanu, communication and promotion expert.
The project is a complex one, lasting 4 years, involving a consortium of 15 organizations from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Sweden, Germany and Spain.
Together, we will accelerate medical innovation by developing digital solutions that facilitate personalized medicine and better-informed medical decisions.
VELES includes four interconnected demonstrator – pilot projects focusing on the treatment of the following health problems: brain tumors (Romania), cancer (Greece), Alzheimer’s (Bulgaria) and dementia (Cyprus).
